Japanese Summer Festival!!
Arghhh!! Have been soooo busy lately…. No time to have enough sleep since after our shanghai and Jakarta trip… However, I thought that I must persevere even if I feel like sleeping now..
Here are some pics from my trip to a Japanese Summer Festival at the Japanese primary school in Changi..
Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t kind to us! it had to rain when the girls are decked in pretty Yukata!
And me having a little fun in a psuedo yukata!
But first… a little Asahi White…
mmmm… some devilicious Japanese fair…
Satisfaction gaurenteed!!! ( Did I spell that correctly??)
It’s been a long time…
Arghh…. It’s been a long time and I’ve been too busy to get on my blog to record great memories…
Me and the sian looks…. Sighh…. Busy tired but at least something that’ll distract me from thoughts of a faraway dream of someone that I can’t be near…
And this is my sista! Never fails to drag me all the way down to my ex working place Covo Bristo and Bar (at Bukit Timah Greenwood) for a drink ( or Drinks!!!), even when I’m bathed, comfortable and ready to tuck myself under the comforter for a good read =) Oh well, I should anyway since he always travelling! Miss ya Roy!
Then came a whole host of celebrations for my Birthday! Thank you my friends, for cheering me up with the thought, comeraderie and presents!
These are given to me by my collegues…
A superb Japanese meal given to me by Bear san!
My newfound poison… Sake! Well… I feel quite normal in the morning even if I had a tad too much Sake ( unless I get horribly drunk!!) I guess I’m an asian through and through afterall.. able to take things made with the asian philosophy! My fav though, is Nigori Sake, the ones with the rice sediments at the bottom…
Psst!!! SKII’s pitera could be the same as those found in the rice sediments! Afterall, that’s how Pitera was discovered!
And gasp! Flavoured shaved ice that’s as fine as the natural snow! It’s a new shop located at the basement of Far East Plaza opened by a friend called “A Sweet Slice of Life”. Definitely a delicious must try!
Yum! I must get a taste of them soon!
