Lazy…
Sigh!!
I’m soo lazy to blog nowadays! Work is tedious but I’m happily challenged..
At least it’s something that I like and a new experience altogether for me! But dealing with bitches, tell-talers and such isn’t all that fun. And the things I’m doing, juxtaposed with who I am as a person… hmm.. I’m scared of myself! =)
In anycase, I shall try to upload ALL my pictures soon… My god.. too many to upload at one go..
Till then…
Day out with my cousin!!
“Life is indeed full of surprises”
I never knew the extent of this phrase until I met up with all my paternal cousins on one of the cousin’s wedding dinner. I got talking with one of them for a brief moment.
I call him, “Ah Tuck Kor Kor”. English name: James Ng (I can hear the snickering and laughter already!!) He’s the oldest cousin in the family and born in the year of the dragon. Why I mentioned this? Well, let’s just say that I (a rat) always seem to click very well with them. But I would have never thought that it would be this well with Cousin James.
The reason why I stopped blogging for a while was because of work (what else) and also because I’m having way too much fun going out with Cousin James and his bunch of friends. Heheee… It’s really really GOOD to have an elder cousin, almost like my own older brother looking out for me and having fun at the same time. AND!!! We get all the Teochew jokes, love eating Teochew Porridge after clubbing and before clubbing.
He asked: “Hey! Where were you when I was clubbing and drinking all these years??”
I laughed and said that I was still a doe-eyed little girl studying in secondary school. We both laughed and wondered what the other cousins and our relatives would think if they knew that we were hanging out. We were at Cafe Del Mar when we were having this conversation.
Our first outing was at Wine Connection at Robertson Quay. That was one crazy night!! And after that, Cafe Del Mar, Zouk, happy hour at the Irish Bar Duxton Hill.
AND! This Sat, Heineken Green Room Session around the Harbour Front area!! What a sudden whirl of activities!!!
Woo Hoo!!!!
A pity I lost my sony ericsson K700i.. Otherwise, there’ll be lots and lots of photos!!! Hahahaa!
Hmm… Borrow my brother’s camera? Hmmmm……. Good idea…
Can’t do this..
It’s funny how some people are so irresponsible to start something they can’t maintain and prolong.
Then they throw you aside and say that they ‘don’t want to drag you down with them.’
Oh and did I mention that he feels the sense of freedom when I’m no longer around. Yup.. Karaokay sessions, enjoy time with friends, and he told me that he needed lots of time alone.
It’s more like you can’t stand the sight of me you FUCKING BASTARD!! RIGHT!? I’m the STUPID girl who fucking gave you my time, my love, my effort, my EVERYTHING!!!
Fucking ditch me when I was having a difficult time in my Life just because you couldn’t FUCKING DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT!
Because of you, I’ll never trust another guy again. BEcause you RUINED MY LIFE!!!
I could FUCKING KILL YOU!!!
I HATE YOU!!
The truth is always brutal
‘I wanna patch back with my ex’
The words that rang in my ears… and to think that I want to wait for someone who didn’t think that I was worth it.
I thought it was the state of mind, it was something else, mid-twenties crisis. Oh no.. It was not. It was the fact that the ex had qualities that I don’t.
What don’t I have I wonder?
I cook, I clean, I can hold a conversation, I gave him whatever he needed emotionally and physically.
Maybe I gave too much. Maybe he needed the pain that his ex had inflicted on him. Maybe that’s what I lacked.
I shouldn’t have been the wonderful girlfriend. I should have known that all men wants only what they can’t have.
It’s okay, it’s alright my dear self. I’ll work hard, I’ll make lots of money and shower my love over people who actually care about me and not some jerk who don’t appreciate me for being there always and so giving.
Goodbye.
Just because you’re worth it.
Hi people…
Sigh… So many things happened, till now, it seemed a whir to me. Everything happened too fast.
I wouldn’t elaborate too much but it’s been a long time since I felt like the way I did.
To many others, they tell me that I should look forward in life. But sometimes, just sometimes, it’s worth it to hold on, just that bit more, endure…
Just because it’s worth it.
Work is my only solace, but that doesn’t mean that night time is easy to pass. They say that 4am in the morning is the hardest to pass.
How true.
Cest La Vie… they say. Oh well, that’s all I can swallow for now.
Gotta get back to work….
Back with more inspiration!
I thought that Japanese magazines are the only magazines I’ll ever touch until I picked up Vogue at the times bookstore at PS. I always felt that Japanese people are the most adapt people at creating fashion fit for the asian body or style and I still think so. It’s just that I was looking for something or someplace that will give me a different perspective on the line of ’STUFF’ that I’m creating now. ^_*
Let the music begin before the inspiration…

The pictures in the Japanese magazines has a sharper, brighter quality to it. These photos from the Vogue magazine are simply ethereal. I’m not saying which is better. Both just simply offer me more options when it comes to presenting the ’stuff’ that I’m working on.
Agrgh!! Excited about it as it’s almost all done! ^O^

A collage of tempting images..
Indulgence is…
I recently got a taste of the Japanese Whiskey thanks to my gal pal’s love..

*
*
Doesn’t the bottle look clean cut and zen like with the angular edges? Hmm… This thing about the Japanese.. the ‘hard-to-put-a-finger-on-it’ attractiveness..

*
*
Christina and her hot beau.. Thanks Jasen! For the whiskey… ^_*

*

The two drunken friends… The thing is babe, we’re never good with whiskey. (Not that I’m good with ANY type of alcohol…)

My dear baby girl… are you drunk yet? Hahaaa….

And then I feel that I must blog about these gem of a morsel! Mini doughnuts! Yet, again from the land of the rising sun! I’ve tried them a few times and they’re as sinful as they look…

And to round it off, in the company of friends!
Kawaiiness Part II; Freedom!!
Freedom, my friends, is not overated!!
And yes, you’ve guessed it! I officially left my previous company on the 1st of March. Good riddance I’d say…
I’m onto my next search for the coveted career where it wouldn’t feel wrong every morning to drag myself to work or unmotivated to do the task on hand.
And the music of the blog is… something underated..
Pienso En Ti (I think of you) by Luis Salinas
This light-hearted cheery number was discovered by me when I bought the cd ‘Milan fashion’. It’s the last track of the cd and it wraps up the whole list of tracks which felt like a runway show commencing. It doesn’t sound too melancholic like most tracks placed at the end of the CD, but rather, telling others that this won’t be the last and there’ll always be chance to meet again for happy times. So, like me telling my girls in the previous workplace, there’ll be another time…
In anycase, I’d taken more photos from my favourite Japanese magazine. So this is kawaiiness from the land of the rising sun, part II

PS: I’m unable to get some of the pictures aligned the right way up and I’m mystified… I had already saved them to be upright in my computer but when they upload, they don’t upload the way I saved them…
Oh well.. till I figure out, bon appetit!
Back to the basics!
My system has been feeling sluggish of late and I suspect it’s the indulgence in rich foods, alcohol (LOTS of it!!) and of course the lack of exercise, work and such. So I decided to return to the basics, doing what makes me feel healthy and brand new.
But first up, a promise is a promise and I shall introduce you the Music of this post…
This is absolutely my all time fav!!! It’s sooooo smoozy and chill…. I first listened to this loungier than lounge tune from my ex-boss’s CD ‘Private Lounge’. When he was looking for music to fill his new eatery at Greenwood Ave (Covo), he brought along various CDs for me to sample, and I contributed my collection as well. I fell head over heels with this tune, laced with the low buzz of the shaker, as well as the saxaphone stroking you slowly to blissfulness with the simple yet effective keyboard tunes…. Dame.. It’s music porno if I might say so myself!! (With much taste of course….)
And lulling you back to reality, the healthy thing I’m doing now of course..
I’ve recently got in the know about the beauty of Sichuan girls. check out these pictures..
From the most traditionally dressed…

To the modern…. Slurrrrrrrrrrrp huh???
As I’m now working with a China developer in my company, I’d inquired from one of them why Sichuan girls are oh so desirable. He explained that the Sichuan province in China is actually a sunken area, below ground level. Moisture, whichever kind, tends to get trapped within the area. So, their skin are seldom dehydrated (which we all know, is mighty important for that glowy, dewy smooth skin.)
They also tend to eat loads of chilli which helps them keep slim, rid their system of toxins, as well as get loads of vitamin C and other antioxidents into their systems.
I’m SOOOOOOO jealous!!!
Nevertheless, although I’m don’t have all the best genes in the world and don’t live in Sichuan, I shall endeavour to do my best to acquire the perfect health and body.
I’ve resorted to eating sashimi at least once a week to get that oh so important omega 3 and 6 as well as antioxidant ..
The very fresh and value for money sashimi at Sakuraya…

And yet more fish swimming in the goodness of the milky broth (with chilli padi on the side of course…)
Picture courtesy of ‘ieatishootipost.blogspot.com’. Isn’t the milky soup enticing? mmmmm….. And yes, that’s what I have EVERYDAY!! I hope my skin becomes that colour too…hehe..

The day before yesterday night, I had hockchew fishball (those with meat in the middle) with veg soup prepared lovingly by my mum. Yesterday, I had fish meat beehoon soup with chilli padi for brekkie and pigs organ soup for afternoon, again with chilli…
And today, I had yong tau hu soup for breakfast and fish meat soup for lunch.
That should slim me down and detoxify me!!! HARR…..

Sigh…. Far from it I suppose…
I guess I’ll have to be as made up as a Japanese girl..
I’ll keep you posted with regards to my progress….
My obsession..
For the longest time, my friends have been very amused at my one and only obsession..
Music.
And it is quite true. I am annal about the kind of music that should be played at a bar, tea house or even in my bedroom.
Toasting to my first blog about music, I shall offer my audience with this diva-ish number.
I first got aquainted with this old school, hot diva melody in the movie 2046 and I was stunned by the beauty of the scence: Zhang ziyi in a cheongsum walking in her room and dressing herself up for a night out.. a spritz of perfume and putting on pearl earrings, slight arrangement of the hair while looking into the mirror… Mesmerizing.
Thus, I couldn’t help but want to introduce this to anyone who’s viewing my blog.
In future, I think I will intro one affecting and moving melody to my audience for every entry that I make so stay tuned… ^_*
And of course… pictures from my dear ole brother’s wedding…

My brother’s wedding entourage consists of a few ‘onz’ brothers and a few other sissys… The greenish thing that I’m holding in the above picture is actually a slice of baby bittergourd, one of the ‘punishments’ that all the brothers have to go through in order for my brother to get to the bride. My cousin couldn’t take it so in a moment of exasperation, I snatched over the slice of punishment and crunch it all up in a few bites. And.. it wasn’t bad actually. I also heard that it’s fantastic for your health! *_^
*
*

Me and My Da Sao! Hmmm… pretty pretty huh? Remembering that day’s events, we were all pretty knackered…
*
*

Me and one of my da sao’s entourage.. I do love my little red beret that I was wearing that night … I decided to appear in that little black number with red accessories and I must say, it was quite a success!
More music and photos coming your way *_*
